• Why hire an event planner?

    I know I know… there are people out there who think that hiring an event planner is extraneous or lavish at best. Seriously, why spend money for something you could “do yourself”?

    But consider this:

    What is your time worth? Do you have really have the amount of hours per week necessary to devote to planning your event? Think of it in dollars. How much do you make hourly at work? Now, multiply that with the total amount of hours you’ll need to spend researching, planning, and working to make your event happen. I promise you, it adds up and when you hire someone else to plan your event you get to spend those hours doing something else. *aww, how relaxing*

The same as hiring a professional to paint your house, it will take us far less time to gather the information necessary for your event, help you devise a budget, make decisions, review contracts, and assist you in meeting your vision.

    You get to relax. Emotional stress is impossible to escape when you’re planning an important event all on your own. You have to coordinate a lot of details all at once meanwhile keeping everything else in your life going at the same pace. However, when you hire an event planner – we do all the leg work for you, so you can focus on your job, your family, or whatever else you have going on. This means you’ll be calmer, more focused, and able to really enjoy the event when it finally arrives. *sounds great right?*

    You can enjoy your event. You’ve seen it before, we all have…the frantic host of a party sweating as they run to and from the kitchen while trying to greet guests and make sure the punch bowl is full, the DJ has enough records to spin, the bartender hasn’t run out of ice, there’s enough toilet paper in the powder room and clean up the red wine spill on the new rug. Now imagine that as you at your wedding or party, not a good look.
